CAREER AND SUCCESS ACADEMIES

Welcome Families! I'm Lucinda Reese, Club Director for Career Academy Boys & Girls Clubs. I will also be part of the awesome Career Academy and Boys & Girls Clubs Makerspace team of STEM guru's this year! So if you see me around a couple of our other schools, say hello! 

 The Career Academy staff and myself are super excited that you have decided to join our after school program. I first started with the Boys & Girls Clubs as the Education Coordinator at OC in 2006, and have been in many roles within the organization over the years. I've been educating kids from ages 5- 18, in STEM, Spanish, Career and College Readiness, and even coached our underwater robotics teams for many years! Our robotics team traveled all over the country, and even won competitions at Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. This school year is an exciting one adding lots of new makerspaces, with lots of fun new programs to come! I attended college at Bethel University and South Texas College, and also an Entrepreneur with a small business.

Hello! My name is Ray Martin. Before joining BGCSJC, I was with Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver since 2011. From being a Club kid and now a Club Director, I have really come full circle. I chose BGCSJC because it felt like home. If I had the opportunity to positively impact/change one thing within our community, it would be to create a place for all kids to go, not just after school, but any time. I would want kids to experience more of the world and know they can be better.
