Welcome to Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County web site!

This year Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County marks our 33rd year of offering area youth an opportunity to discover their strengths and use them as the foundation for building successful, productive lives. In 1974, this Club literally started in a tree house. Today, more than 2,500 children are members of Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County at five branch sites located in South Bend and Mishawaka.

Our sites are strategically placed in neighborhoods that have been identified as having a high need for positive youth intervention. Our Clubs provide solutions to problems young people encounter by guiding them with nationally proven core programs in five areas: character and leadership development, education and career development, health and life skills, the arts, and sports, fitness and recreation.

Simply stated, Boys & Girls Clubs offer kids a safe place to learn and grow – and are truly the positive place for kids!
